Class Description

This Qi Vinyasa Yoga class offers a refreshing change from many of the other power yoga classes brought to you by YogaDownload. You won't be doing the typical Sun Salutation A series, but will be taken through a creative and challenging flow that will leave you feeling like you combined a bit of strength training with your yoga practice. This class is medium-paced and will work to build muscle tone along with flexibility, without the use of weights. Qi Yoga is a style that combines focus on alignment with creative sequencing that is designed to increase strength and flexibility in a harmonious and balanced way.

Wow! What a burn! Really good body positioning ques. Only request would be to remind us to breath through the long holds. Feel fantastic!

The description of the class does of nice job of explaining how you are going to be working your arms and legs. I also liked the gentle, creative twists. In the 30 min. class, we never got to the point where we were flowing. That means we did lots of chair poses with no accompanying breath work. Personally, I like to flow (even in a shorter class). Also, I m not a fan of taking Savasana after the time allotted instead of including it as part of the class.

Great! Nice leg workout. Loved the insight into what all the little muscles should be doing and how to get further into everything. A workout I ll be growing into for sure.

I m 20 minutes into the 45 minute sequence and don t feel like I ve really done anything yet. Since I just forked over $5.99 I feel obligated to sit through the rest of it and hope it gets more interesting.

For an intermediate class there is far too much instruction. Most people who have practiced any yoga at all do not need to be told that downward dog is an upside down V. Also, the music is distracting and in some places, competes with the instructor s voice. Disappointing class so far.

Did the 60 minute class yesterday and it was tough. I am all sore today. The class was also longer than 60 minutes, rather 70 minutes or so. Next time I will do the 45 minute class.

Just did the Qi yoga episode 50 podcast, my first from yogadownload.com. A very nice short strength sequence. I ll be making a donation and trying out more of these classes for sure. There s enough here to keep me going for months! Thankyou.
