Great class! I haven’t gone to the mat for 3 years since my babies are born. It was slow enough to get a good stretch and remind me all the little muscles I have on my body. Thank you!!

Very challenging but exactly what I needed! Challenging for me since I have taken about 6 months off from doing any yoga. I didn t realize how tight my upper shoulders were and the eagle stretch felt so good! Thank you!

Hahah due to kids all over me situarion, managed 20 min only. You said in you previous email - just be there - no judgments - so that came out perfectly right. It is cute how kids just don t care and we are all connected - soo true. Even only half practice was great for me thank you :)

My gift to myself this new year is self-compassion. Had a chance to practice this right off the bat when, due to warm weather and local tradition, we spent yesterday out on our sailboat. Instead of being disappointed with myself for not doing yesterdays 1st challenge before we left and then again once we returned home, I gave myself time to meditate on the wonders of the day and how my body felt after being and moving on the boat.
Elise s class today complimented self-compassion with its back bends and heart openings. There is a soothing quality to Elise s classes where even taking where your body is today is the most important part of the practice.
I look forward to remaining days of the journey.

Both challenging and relaxing (for someone who has practiced yoga regularly for years, but has been out of practice for about 10 months given the disruptive nature of the previous year). It went by quickly and had a very nice flow. I have never loved lunges, but I was able to feel the immediate benefits of these.

I understand the frustration some had with this practice, and I m guessing the instructor thought the audience would know modifications for the more intense postures. I m not feeling well, but trying my best to start the new year off on the right foot. So I hugged my shoulders for eagle and made generous use of props for many of the other poses, including half moon, lizard, and bridge poses. Even when we need to study the pose and hit the pause button (literally!), the breath is the most important element of our practice. Peace to all.

I’ve been a bit out of practice and even missed day 1 of the challenge for the opportunity to engage in outdoor exercise with others. And I’ve been feeling so tight and stuck - Elise’s class did just what it advertised - allowed me to slowly seek and find freedom in my body and movement and continue to seek and send out connection so needed in these days. Challenging for being out of practice - I don’t think I would have said that 2 months ago - so everyday namaste is probably accurate. Appreciate the time to cultivate connection and intention to open and close the practice. Thanks, Elise!

This is a ridiculous class for Day 2 of the January 21 day challenge. If you’re a beginner like me, Jackie’s class yesterday was wonderful and encouraging. This one today by Elise is far too complicated and totally disheartening and off putting as Day 2.

Elise is such a gentle and positive teacher, who brings energy and joy alongside her calming words. This class is wonderful for tight and tense days, or times of emotional pain when you need to sink inside yourself to find healing energy. I also feel it promotes the restoration of heart and mind after physical stress like a hard workout. Thank you Elise!

I enjoyed the balance and sequence of this class and the mudras. Today my arms felt really short and I could not reach my feet at all in the poses requiring this. I would have liked a subtitle for the closing chant.
