Welcome to Day 11 of the Power & Perseverance 2-Week Yoga Challenge!

Thursday, June 11th.

When have you been practicing? Do you always rush to practice first thing in the morning? Or do you end up practicing at night? Or do you mix it up? There is no right or wrong time to practice yoga, and different practices are beneficial at different times of the day.

Today you’ve got two classes that will give you a boost in the morning or afternoon, with Claire or Ben. If you want to wind down, Robert’s class is ideal for the evening. Have a wonderful practice today!

Unwind:

Yoga to Close Your Day with Robert Sidoti

40 min class | Level: Adv. Beginner & Up | Intensity: Ahhhhhh

This relaxing and centering class is all about getting a great nights sleep! Everything is set up for you to chill out, breathe, relax, meditate a little, stretch your body and end your day with intention and gratitude. Give it a shot, you may really enjoy the rest you feel in the morning after having slept comfortably through the entire night :)

Sweat:

Fitness 'n' Yoga & Weights: Exercise Your Body with Ben Davis

50 min class | Level: Adv. Beginner & Up | Intensity: Bring a Towel

Fitness 'n' Yoga + Weights: Exercise Your Body fuses yoga with general components of fitness and is designed to give you a full body workout. This class contains an exercise sequence that consists of 15 chaturanga push ups, 30 seconds of eagle crunches and one minute of squats. In addition to the exercise sequence, there is a warrior 3 balancing series and a warrior 2 flow. Get ready to sweat as you exercise your body! 

Weights can be used to tone and sculpt. *Use heavy weights for the squat portion of the exercise sequence to get more work out of the arms and legs.

Core:

Nothing But Core 3 with Claire Petretti Marti

25 min class | Level: Intermediate | Intensity: You'll Feel It

Never enough core, right? Here's another fast-paced challenge for your abs and your back. Planks, Pilates, and a few functional fitness moves will help you maintain a healthy spine and sleek, toned abdominals. It's a perfect standalone class or add it on after yoga or a workout.

If you've been having a hard time navigating the circumstances of the current global pandemic and have been in a state of worry, or struggling with social isolation, daily yoga will help create more peace of mind, even in tougher times.

Every day, your class choices will be delivered to your inbox, making it easier than ever to stay on track, make yoga a daily habit, and feel more energized. You'll also be in this challenge with other yogis, from all over the globe. Together, you'll create a real sense of connection and support, as each day you'll have the opportunity to share about yourself and your challenge journey with each other.
