Welcome to Day 9 of the 14-Day Yoga Challenge for Busy People!

Another day, another yoga practice. Well done challengers! 

Today you have a 20-minute option from Keith, if you're desiring a shorter practice. If you've got time to settle in, Christen will bring you inwards, and challenge you.

Today's message from Elise: I hope you got something out of my five criteria for a well-formed goal or outcome! Now I’d like to shift gears and talk about how behind the outer game of taking daily steps towards the goal, there’s an inner, more psychological and emotional game that must be played for habit change and transformation. 

The first step of the inner game is to Step Back. When we take some perspective and see our situation from the outside, we can proceed with vision and curiosity. We get unstuck and are ready for the momentum of change. Take a few moments to take a clear look at where you are now vs. where you want to be. Meditation and mindfulness are effective tools to gain this type of perspective.

Moving from Outside to Inside with Christen Bakken

60 min class | Level: Intermediate | Intensity: Bring a Towel

One of the most obvious practices in yoga is to bring your attention away from the constant stimuli of social media, to-do lists, and traffic to the place in all of us that is joyful and peaceful. For many of us, this is a lifelong practice- to go inward. In this class, we will look at the opposite possibility- taking what is outside and bringing it inside to our mats. We will bring playfulness, patience, and self-acceptance to this well rounded sequence. The body will sweat and move in all directions- even upside down.
