Now is a time where we are all being called on to focus on our health, our ability to stay calm in the face of adversity, and be more courageous than many of us have ever needed to be. This 3-Week Yoga challenge is an opportunity for you to prioritize your physical and mental health, and cultivate the bravery and calmness needed right now, while connecting with an online yoga community from all over the world.
While it can be easy and understandable to experience fear, remember there are things you can do, to make your body and your immune system stronger. Two key parts of keeping a healthy immune system are reducing stress, and adding in physical activity. Yoga helps with both, by strengthening your physical health and calming your of mind, and lowering stress levels.
Navigating these trying times mentally and emotionally, is as much of an obstacle as navigating the physical dangers currently present. Part of keeping emotional equilibrium during unprecedented times, is to keep some sense of routine.
Everyday life as most of us know it, does not and cannot exist temporarily, as we navigate CVOD-19. While it can feel like we cannot control the world outside of us, each of us who are healthy enough, still have the power to get onto our yoga mats each day, from home. It can feel grounding and comforting to have a yoga routine, in the midst of such uncertainty.
Part of what makes YogaDownload's challenges special, is the sense of community among participants, which is needed currently, as many of us are experiencing physical distance from others. You'll embark on this 21-day challenge with people from all over the world and have the chance to share your experiences and support one another each day, and feel a real sense of connection.
Helping others will help you get through this. Remember, your courage will help the other people in your life right now, who need support. While there are countless things you can do, you will be better suited to show up for your loved ones, when you make your self-care a priority.
This challenge is suitable for all levels of yoga practitioners. There will be a mix of yoga styles from top teachers and class options delivered to your inbox each morning. There will always be a class option under 30 minutes each day, making this challenge suitable for those with time constraints and ensuring everyone can pick their ideal class each day.
