Why the abs and booty? These tend to be particular problem areas for most people, plus having strong abs and a nice booty feels good! While these benefits are real, the other health benefits of a strong core and bum transcend just looks. The glutes (your booty) are the largest muscle in the entire body. With strong glutes, you are stronger all-around, more powerful, and faster. Having a strong core is essential in a healthy, balanced, and stable body. Strengthening your core is incredibly preventive and restorative for injuries (especially back injuries), beneficial to your central nervous system, improves posture, and even protects your organs.

This challenge is a specially curated blend of practices that includes yoga, pilates, barre, and fitness classes, all targeting your abs and booty. You'll see a visible change in 2-weeks. Whether you're an experienced yogi or exerciser, or a beginner and want fitness to be part of your life, this challenge is suitable for you (all levels welcome).

Welcome to Day 1 of the 2-Week Abs & Booty Bootcamp Challenge! Ready to get your abs and booty into tip-top shape in two weeks? Simply keep showing up everyday, for the next two weeks. Before you know it, you'll be both looking and feeling better than you ever have before. The important thing is that you keep showing up!

DAY 2: 2 WEEK ABS & BOOTY BOOTCAMP CHALLENGE
DAY 2: 2 WEEK ABS & BOOTY BOOTCAMP CHALLENGE
Welcome to Day 2 of the 2-Week Abs & Booty Bootcamp Challenge! How are you feeling after your first practice of the challenge? Today, we focus on your core. A healthy core is the key to a healthy back, strong abdominal muscles, and a healthy sense of power and confidence. It takes practice and effort to keep it healthy and in shape. Fire is also the element related to your core and third chakra (called Manipura). Throughout the next 13 days, you will tap into your inner fire, and with each and every practice, make it stronger, brighter, and more fierce. Have fun!

DAY 3: 2 WEEK ABS & BOOTY BOOTCAMP CHALLENGE
Welcome to Day 3 of the 2-Week Abs & Booty Bootcamp Challenge! You've made it to the third practice! Well done. Yesterday the focus was the core. Today, we're going back to working the booty! Remember, you will be in better shape at the end of this challenge than you are now. If the longer classes feel challenging, push yourself, but also remember to be gentle with yourself and if you need to rest or take it a little easier, modify your practice and do so. Don't beat yourself up during this challenge, but keep reminding yourself how strong you are and how much stronger you are becoming! The important thing is to simply keep showing up, each and every day, just as you're doing now. Have fun in today's class with Kylie!

DAY 4: 2 WEEK ABS & BOOTY BOOTCAMP CHALLENGE
DAY 4: 2 WEEK ABS & BOOTY BOOTCAMP CHALLENGE
Welcome to Day 4 of the 2-Week Abs & Booty Bootcamp Challenge! Today you have two choices and both target the lower body. One class, from Jack, is a yoga class, while Geenie's, class, is a Barre class. Throughout the challenge you'll have a blend of fitness, yoga, barre, and pilates classes to choose from. While most classes will be yoga related, challenges are an excellent time to branch out, and experiment with some different styles. You might find new styles or teachers you really connect with and add some variety to your regular practice!

DAY 5: 2 WEEK ABS & BOOTY BOOTCAMP CHALLENGE
You've nearly made it to the end fo the first week. How are you feeling challengers? While the first week can be tough, hopefully you're noticing your first real signs of progress. Be proud of yourself for sticking with it. Today's class with Elise targets your glutes again. It's a little bit shorter and less challenging than some of the previous practices this week, so enjoy it! Be sure to notice those moments when you're feeling strong, instead of thinking of each class as a chore, or struggling through the practice. You are becoming stronger with each and every breath on your mat. Keep up the amazing work.

Welcome to Day 6 of the 2-Week Abs & Booty Bootcamp Challenge! Today's class blends together some different movement styles, to keep things interesting. The target is still the core! Not only, does a strong core, mean a lean stomach and strong abs, but also a stronger center of balance for the rest of your body. Your core is home to some of your most vital organs, and keeping a strong and healthy core, makes them function better. Furthermore, a strong core is one of the most effective things you can do to prevent and heal back pain, specifically in the lower back. So whether you're suffering from back pain, or want to take precautions and keep your spine feeling good for a long time, enjoy the benefits of the work you're doing to strengthen your core.

Welcome to Day 7 of the 2-Week Abs & Booty Bootcamp Challenge! Welcome to the end of the first week! After completing today's practice, take a moment to reflect on your challenge journey so far, and share in the comments. This is also a good time to check back in with your initial goals you set at the beginning of the challenge. You've reached the halfway mark. Keep up the good work. For today's classes, you have the choice of targeting the abs or the booty. You also have the choice of a longer practice or a more concise one. There are no wrong choices here. You are well on your way to a successful second week.
