Aarona Pichinson

Aarona’s life was shaped by a wide array of experiences, people, and places which tinted her love for movement, adventure and travel – putting her on a continual (sweet) search for balance. With 17 years of a personal yoga practice, a life of dance, and a ‘past life’ as photographer and holistic health coach, Aarona has a deep sense of how to shape a nourishing experience that also invites you to explore your edge. In her vigorously graceful classes, global retreats, live music ‘Yoga Soundscape’ events, and empowering workshops, Aarona is a thoughtful and inspiring guide. Her classes infuse a wide range of movement disciplines within an alignment based vinyasa style that encourages people to be more in tune with the strength and alignment of their body, the brilliance of their breath, the spontaneous nature of well-being, and the power of feeling their senses. Currently based in New York City, Aarona teaches at Kula Yoga Project, YogaWorks, and Park Slope Yoga, plus works with people privately and teaches retreats and festivals around the globe. She’s been featured in the New York Times, Self Magazine, National Geographic Traveler UK, Wall Street Journal, Elephant Journal, the cover of FitYoga, NBC, Yoga Journal, Origin Magazine, Well+Good NYC, and Co-Creator Radio.
