Yoga to me is simply being present in the moment. This meditation in movement allows one to tune into the body's intuition and helps harmonize at the gross and subtle layers of consciousness. I was first intrigued with movement and body mechanics with bharatanatyam dance as a child and then different types of yoga and somatic therapy.

I have been teaching yoga for over nine years in the New York City area. I am a graduate of Maryland University of Integrative Health's first cohort of the first Yoga Therapy Master of Science program in the US. I also am a E-RYT 500 hr. certified instructor.

I focus on individual yoga therapy sessions that offer full postural and breath assessment which help uncover any musculoskeletal imbalance that may be contributing to pain or discomfort. I use the tools of yoga postures, breathing techniques and meditation and work in partnership with clients to set goals and support your journey to increased health, well-being and bliss.
