My lovely London teacher, Rain Maher, studied with Shiva Rea so I felt at home with this practice. I enjoyed it, on a day when I am feeling a bit stiff, & carrying extra belly fat owing to COVID lockdown. The twists are regenerative, balancing poses gently challenging, and I enjoyed the lunar section following the solar flow. Shiva s voice is soothing as is the background music. Cueing not great but it s ok with video.

I thought this was going to be a flow, it was more of a meditation with some movement. The whole lunar flow was seated.

I was looking for Shiva Rea s lunar flow and realized it was on yoga download! However, this class was not what I was expecting. I had an article of a lunar flow she did in yoga journal and was hoping this what it. This class was more of a very gentle breath meditation with ocean wave movements. I enjoyed it as it brought calm and restoration to my body, but I really wanted to move around on my mat more; that is the only reason I gave it four stars. Her voice did get softer and louder a few times like other reviewers mentioned, but, to me, it wasn t that distracting. If you are looking for a nice, restorative flow for your practice during your moontime, look elsewhere. But, if you are looking for a gentle, calming moving mediation, this might be right for you!

Not a fan of this class... The sound quality is pretty poor, and it seems like the instructor enjoys talking more than teaching. I didn t care for her New Age approach either.

I did just the solar flow, which was disappointing. She talked so much that you couldn t enjoy the poses, and even though is is supposed to stand alone as a class; it felt very unfinished.

I probably won t try the solar flow.

I ve been practicing Yoga for several years, and using audio pod-casts for the last 2 years. This Solar Flow class was the first practice that ever made me feel confused and frustrated. The instructions were really vague and I found my mind working harder than my body just trying to figure out where she was going. I spent an additional 10 minutes calming myself and sending love and prayers to Shiva, thanking her for her attempt to share with us.

Did the lunar flow class & found it odd and way too mellow, and not even restorative. I agree with the commenter who said she felt like Shiva was just floating in her own world.

I am so disappointed with this class. Shiva Rea seems to be floating in her own world while we are left with little to no instructions. The poses are not flowing... I just finished the 45 mins solar flow and I don t even feel like I worked out at all. Very strange class....

Just did the Solar class and found it calming and flowing, but at the same time strengthening and powerful. I liked the pulsing. I can see why Shiva Rea is so highly regarded!

I like the variety in this podcast, but I guess I didn t realize that it was essentially split into two classes- one solar and one shorter lunar. That said, I kind of liked rolling into the lunar part as a form of cooldown, and I ll use this podcast again.

Just finished the lunar flow class. Awesome and different! Love the relaxing and unplugging qualities it has. I decided to do the class because I was not able to wind down, but needed to get rest and sleep, now I am calm and relaxed!
The class definitely has the Shiva Rea movement quality in that she has you do a lot of wave pattern with your body, almost never static poses.
